Avoiding shadows to ensure a place in the sun
In order to guarantee optimum access to the leaves, plants have developed various strategies during evolution. Resarchers at CIG in Lausanne have elucidated a mechanism allowing a localized response of the plant in case of partial shade (image: Fabrice Ducrest, Unil).This research was supported by the SystemsX.ch Research, Technology and Development (RTD) Project PlantGrowth2.

3rd International SystemsX.ch Conference: New registration deadline for abstract submission

PHRT call for proposals
The SFA Personalized Health and Related Technologies (PHRT) has published its first call. Proposals for interdisciplinary PhD projects, Transition Postdoc Fellowships, Technology Translation Projects and Personalized Medicine/Personalized Health Research Projects can be submitted until September 15, 2017.
