Free Entries for the SBHD 2015 in Heidelberg
SystemsX.ch is sponsoring the International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease 2015, which will take place in Heidelberg from July 6 to 8. The Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology is offering ten free entries for PhD students and postdocs within SystemsX.ch projects. If you are interested, please send an email by June 15 to admin(at)systemsx.ch. These free entries will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.

Cracking the Prion Puzzle
A multidisciplinary team around prion researcher Adriano Aguzzi is using small RNA molecules to gain deeper insights into disease processes. “Small RNAs” is one of the University of Zurich’s eleven clinical research priority programs (CRPPs). ZHAW becomes new SystemsX.ch partner
SystemsX.ch welcomes the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) as its 15th partner. The new partner organization has achieved an outstanding reputation in applied research. Several of the ZHAW’s institutes are active in systems biology, and one research group is already involved in a SystemsX.ch MRD Project.

New board members
SystemsX.ch welcomes Alfred Zippelius and Uwe Sauer as new members of the Scientific Executive Board (SEB). They replace Jörg Schifferli and Ruedi Aebersold, who have stepped down from their positions on the board. more»
