Taming the BEAST - Engelberg, Switzerland
Taming the BEAST is a summer school focused on BEAST2, an open-source software package for Bayesian phylogenetic analysis of molecular sequences. The aim of the course is to equip participants with the skills necessary to confidently perform their own phylogenetic and phylodynamic inferences, while providing them with a firm grasp of the theory. The event will take place from June 26 to July 1, 2016 in Engelberg, Switzerland.

Biochemical Pathways and Large-Scale Metabolic Networks - Lausanne, Switzerland
This one-week course, which will be held at the University of Lausanne from August 29 to September 2, 2016, will consist of selected chapters, practicals and a mini-symposium on the complexities of biochemical pathway reconstruction, with some emphasis on genome-scale metabolic networks. The event is jointly organized by SIB Training and by the CUSO / Staromics doctoral program.
